Learn to Drive or Refresh Your Driving Skills

NEW DRIVERS - LEARN TO DRIVE

Motorvator's education and training program is designed to assist the new driver build confidence and composure toward obtaining their first drivers licence. The program includes education about Road Rules and vehicles and how to be safe and courteous in driving.

Practical Training in differing traffic situations and roadways is done in stages according to the individual's progress and learning style.

Our instructor is female and understands the different needs in learning to drive for various demographics.

REFRESH YOUR DRIVING

Motorvator will refresh your road rule knowledge and driving technique - ideal for rebuilding confidence and assisting driver re-assessment at any stage in your driving lifetime

Affordable

Motorvator's lesson length varies from one hour to one and a half hours depending on individual needs, with a 90 minute first driving lesson highly recommended.

90 Minute Driving Lesson

The 90 minute lesson is perfect for new learner drivers who have not previously had a lesson with Motorvator Driver Training. It provides additional time for the instructor to determine the student's knowledge, skill and confidence levels, and structure a custom lesson plan that meets their needs.

60 Minute Subsequent Driving Lesson

The 60 minute driving lesson is great for learner drivers that have already had an initial driving lesson with Motorvator Driver Training. It is structured to provide students with a practical learning experience and optimum use of time behind the wheel.

Motorvator can fully train you for your complete driving program or to assist with managing your costs.Motorvator coordinates with those drivers (volunteer drivers) who may take you on some driving experience to enable you to fill in your log book.

Like any other driving school we provide learner drivers with the skills and knowledge not only to obtain their licence but to also become a safe driver.

Lessons are designed to follow the skills development required in the RMS learner driver log book, the topics included are:

Low Risk Driving Techniques
Building Experience
Preparing for Driving Test

All lessons are conducted in our dual control cars by RMS licensed driving instructors that hold a certificate IV in Driving Instruction.

We provide you with written feedback on the outcomes of the training along with a debrief session with parents/supervising driver. This feedback provides recommendations on areas to work on and can be referred back to in future Motorvator Driver Training lessons to guage the driver's progress. Motorvator Driver Training believes driver training should not be an event but an ongoing learning experience.

For every hour of driving lessons conducted with the Motorvator Driver Training, learner drivers can record three hours driving experience in their learner driver log book. For full details and please refer to the RMS (formally the RTA) website.

We tailor the course to meet your specific needs, expected outcome and experience level. Topics included cover:

Confidence Building: Ideal for the nervous driver, receovering from a medical condition or those returning to the wheel after a long period of time.
Overseas Licence Conversion:Assists drivers from overseas to undertand Australian, NSW and Sydney driving. This session helps to build confidence and will help those who have to do a driving test.

All instructors are RMS licenced Driving Instructors that hold certificare IV in Driving Instruction.

Safe driving instruction includes a mixture of understanding the road rules, excellent decision making and safe vehicle control.

Motorvator instructors are passionate about training and safety.

Structure

Initial Lesson

Suitable for new customers who hold a learner licence. During this lesson the instructor will assess the students skill level and tailor the curriculum to their individual needs. In addition, if the supervising driver is available the instructor will take the time to build rapport and explain our progress card and competency rating system. This assists the supervising driver to keep track of the learners progress and work alongside the instructor to gain the best results.

Ongoing Lesson

Suitable for existing Motorvator Driver Training customers who have already completed an intial lesson. The instructor willl continue with the students training as per the tailored lesson plan discussed at the students previous lesson. Lesson duration can vary dependent on students learning needs and topics to be taught. Our instructors will provide guidance around this when discussing next steps and future bookings at the end of each lesson.

Licence Test

Suitable for ongoing Motorvator Driver Training customers who would like to use the Motorvator vehicle for their license test. Before booking your test with the NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) or ACT Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA), you must first discuss your competency with your driving instructor and be deemed confident to do so. At Motorvator Driver Training, we pride ourselves on developing safe driving skills in all our learners which takes approximately 90 minutes or demonstrate ongoing competent driving behaviours throughout their tuition with us, this will be reflected on their progress card which is issued to every learner during their first lesson

Refresher Lessons

These Refresher Sessions are aimed at helping licensed drivers refresh their driving skills and regain confidence behind the wheel. During the one-on-one session our instructor will observe yur driving skills and provide yu with the appropriate feedback to enhance your driving and confidence to help keep you safe on the road. Motorvator Driver Training offers tailored and flexible training options - we make the session suit your needs. These sessions are also ideal for Senior drivers wihsing to brush up on their skills before taking their RMS license renewal test.
